NG Models NG56013 is a 1/200 scale diecast model of the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, registration 9V-SCQ, named “Muscari” in KLM Royal Dutch Airlines livery.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V.) is the flag carrier of the Netherlands. Founded on October 7, 1919, it is the oldest airline under its original name. In May 2004, it merged with Air France to create Air France-KLM. Both Air France and KLM continue to fly under their original names. Subsidiary airlines are KLM Cityhopper, KLM Asia, Martinair, and Transavia.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American wide-body, twin-engine long-haul jet airliner. The maiden flight occurred on December 15, 2009, and entered service with All Nippon Airways on October 26, 2011.

The stretched 787-9 first flew in September 2013 and started service with All Nippon Airways on August 7, 2014.

It is the first airliner constructed mainly of composite materials (50% composite, 20% aluminium, and titanium and steel by Weight). However, the aircraft had several problems with its lithium-ion batteries in early service, including fires.

The Cockpit crew consists of two pilots. Depending on the variant, the passenger cabin seats 242 to 335 passengers in a typical three-class layout.

It is powered by two General Electric GEnx-1B or Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 high-bypass turbofan engines, pod mounted one under each wing with noise-reducing serrated edges (chevrons) nacelles.
