Boeing 767
The B767 is an American wide-body, twin-engine long-haul monoplane jet airliner, Boeing’s first wide-body twinjet. The maiden flight took place on September 26, 1981, with the first variant, the 767-200, entering service on September 8, 1982, with United Airlines. Next was the extended-range 767-200ER in 1984, the 767-300 in 1986, the 767-300ER in 1988, the 767-300F freighter version in 1995, and the further stretched 767-400ER in 2000.
It has a flight crew of two pilots and, depending on the model can seat up to 375 passengers depending on layout and variant. It uses two Rolls-Royce RB211 or Pratt & Whitney JT9D series high bypass turbofans, pylon mounted one under each wing. Production ended in 2004, with 1,050 airframes of all variants completed.
