Gulfstream V

The Gulfstream V, often called the G-V, is an American twin-engine monoplane business jet and was the company’s first ultra-long-range business jet. It made its first flight on November 28, 1995, and entered service in June 1997.

The G-V is larger than its predecessor, the GIV. It features upgraded engines, an increased range, a greater maximum takeoff weight (MTOW), and a higher operational ceiling. In U.S. military service, it is designated as the C-37A.

Production of the Gulfstream V ended in 2002, with a total of 193 airframes produced.

The G-V’s flight crew consists of two pilots, and the passenger cabin can accommodate up to 18 people.

The aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce turbofan axial flow engines, one mounted at the rear of the fuselage and one located externally on each side.
