Britannia Airways was an English charter airline founded in 1961 as Euravia and rebranded as Britannia Airways in 1964. It was purchased by the TUI Group of Germany in 2000 and renamed Thomsonfly.

The B767 is an American wide-body, twin-engine, long-haul jet airliner, Boeing’s first wide-body twinjet. Its maiden flight took place on September 26, 1981, and the first variant, the 767-200, entered service with United Airlines on September 8, 1982.

1884 introduced the extended-range 767-200ER in 1984, the 767-300ER in 1986, the 767-300ER in 1988, the 767-300F freighter version in 1995, and the further stretched 767-400ER in 2000. Production ended in 2004, with 1,050 airframes of all variants completed.

It has a cockpit crew of two pilots, and the passenger cabin can seat up to 375, depending on layout and variant. It uses two Rolls-Royce RB211 or Pratt & Whitney JT9D series high-bypass turbofans, pylon-mounted one under each wing.
