Bombardier CRJ700 Series

The Bombardier CRJ700 is a Canadian family of twin-engine regional airliners. Based on the CRJ100/200. The maiden flight occurred on May 27, 1999 (CRJ700), entering service in 2001 with Brit Air.

The Regional Jet designations (CRJ) are for marketing purposes; the official titles are CL-600-2C10 (-700), CL-600-2D24 (-900), and CL-600-2E25 (-1000). The CRJ700 is similar to the CRJ200 but features more powerful engines, a new wing with leading-edge slats, and a longer, broader fuselage. The flight crew consists of two pilots, and the passenger cabin accommodates up to 104 passengers, depending on the variant and cabin configuration. It uses two General Electric CF34 high-bypass turbofans, developed from the TF34 military engine, mounted on the rear fuselage sides.
