JC Wings XX40225

JC Wings XX40225 is a 1/400 scale diecast model of the Boeing 747-4Q8 (-Q8: Boeing’s customer code for International Lease Finance Corporation), of registration G-VHOT, named “Tubular Belle”, in Virgin Atlantic Airways livery circa the early 2000s.

Virgin Atlantic Airways

Virgin Atlantic Airways is a British international airline. It was founded in 1984 as British Atlantic Airways and was renamed Virgin Atlantic Airways the same year. The Owners, the Virgin Group, sold a 49% stake to Singapore Airlines in 1999, and in December 2012, Singapore Airlines sold its stake to Delta Air Lines.

Boeing 747-400

The B747-400 is an American wide-body, four-engine jet airliner, the best-selling variant of the B747 family. One of the most recognisable passenger aircraft with its distinctive hump atop the forward fuselage. It flew for the first time on April 29, 1988, entering service with Northwest Airlines in February 1989.

Technological and structural improvements over previous variants include a standard stretched upper deck, longer, lighter wings (except for the -400D), and canted winglets measuring 1.8 m (5 ft 11 in) in length. Other improvements include better fuel efficiency, increased fuel capacity, carbon brakes instead of steel brakes, and reduced drag from fuselage-to-wing fairings.

Produced in several versions: -400 (passenger), -400F (Freighter), -400 M (Combi), -400D (high-density seating model for the Japanese domestic market), -400ER (Extended Range) and -400ERF (Extended Range Freighter). Production ended in 2009 with 694 airframes built.

The cabin crew consists of two pilots, and the passenger cabin seats up to 416 passengers in a typical three-class layout, 524 in a two-class configuration, or 660 in a high–density single–class (747-400D). The B747-400 uses four Pratt & Whitney PW4000, Rolls-Royce RB211, or General Electric CF6 high-bypass axial-flow turbofan engines.

Warning: Choking Hazard! Not suitable for children under 14 years of age or individuals who tend to place inedible objects in their mouths. Adult collectable - designed for static display - Not a toy.
